Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy : Using your own cells for Rejuvenation

PRP has been used in many medical procedures over the years, and its safety is well established. PRP therapy involves injection of the patient’s own platelets for the cosmetic treatment of wrinkles or scars in the face, hands, and neck. PRP obtained from blood contains platelets which clog up cuts and tears. Platelets have growth factors on the surface which stimulate collagen production when injected into the skin.

This procedure is less invasive than plastic surgery, takes approx. an hour for each treatment, and offers improvements for up to 18 months.

How many treatments are required ?

For the best results, we recommend up to three treatments, 4-6 weeks apart, with top ups at 6-24 months.

What results can I expect from PRP treatments?

Improvement of skin texture and tone are noticeable within three weeks. Full regeneration of collagen takes three months.
